The will of Linda Bean, who died March 23 at age 82, was filed in Knox County probate court on Thursday. It outlines how Bean has left her tangible personal property and the remainder of her estate to the Linda L. Bean Revocable Trust.

Bean, the granddaughter of L.L. Bean founder Leon Leonwood Bean, started numerous businesses of her own, including Linda Bean’s Perfect Maine and Linda Bean’s Maine Lobster.

Her estate had sought to seal the will and other records from becoming public documents, but a Knox County probate judge denied the request on Monday.
