A body was found Tuesday morning in the Portland mudflats.
The body was spotted about 11:32 a.m. near the former B&M Baked Beans plant, according to Brad Nadeau, a spokesperson for the Portland Police Department.
The body was recovered and taken to the Maine medical examiner’s office, where a cause of death will be determined.
No additional information was immediately available.
