Phones at Dahl-Chase Diagnostic Services in Bangor are running again after a switch failure caused them to shut down Monday morning.
A switch failure on the pathology laboratory’s phone server caused the problem, said Denise Sudborough, director of business operations.
“The issue has been resolved and our phones were back online between 10:30 and 11 a.m. this morning,” Sudborough wrote in an email at 12:30 p.m. Monday.
A Northern Light Health spokesperson, Karen Sanborn, said earlier in the day that the issue was only affecting Dahl-Chase, and phones at Eastern Maine Medical Center are working.
Dahl-Chase provides contracted diagnostic services for physicians, hospitals, laboratories and clinics throughout Maine and the country, including most Northern Light hospitals, Sanborn said.
