A lightning strike burned a Newburgh garage during Wednesday evening’s thunderstorm.
Lightning struck the garage on Flynn Road, sending smoke billowing out of the first and second floors, according to Newburgh Fire and Rescue.
With assistance from five surrounding communities, Newburgh firefighters got the blaze under control.
No injuries were reported.
