A missing Windham woman has been found safe.
Joan Munroe, 90, was reported missing after she told a relative she was leaving her Brand Road home for Connecticut, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Munroe, who suffers from cognitive issues, offered no further explanation nor packed clothes, Moss said Friday morning.
She had been last seen 5 p.m. Thursday at her home.
Moss said later on Friday morning that Munroe had been safely located.
