A New Hampshire man has died after he crashed his motorcycle in Maine.
Joseph Vachon, 32, of Rochester, New Hampshire, was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle on River Road when he left the road and crashed in an open field, according to York County Sheriff William King.
A resident discovered the crash about 5:20 a.m. Thursday, and when police arrived at the scene, Vachon was dead, King said.
His passenger, 26-year-old Rhiannon Cooper-Boisvert of Milton, New Hampshire, was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
No additional information was immediately available.
