In Maine’s coastal enclaves, the price of admission may include a “tear down” home. At the extreme end, the cheapest of the only two single-family homes for sale in Biddeford Pool was abandoned during construction and is listed for $1.3 million. 

Bangor wants to spend the last of its pandemic relief money appealing to housing developers. The $2.6 million would go toward two pieces of undeveloped land. 

The heads of tuna caught in a Maine fishing tournament will help set future catch quotas. Scientists from the University of Maine Pelagic Fisheries Lab spent Tuesday morning digging into the giant heads for a tiny bone bearing key indicators about the fish.
