Editor’s note: John Flannery has been found safe.

Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of 78-year-old John Flannery of Biddeford.

Flannery, who has cognitive issues, was last seen Thursday at around 11:30 a.m. for an appointment at 110 Elm St. in Biddeford. Following the appointment, he did not return home, according to police.

He is a white man, 5-foot-9, 160 pounds, with blue eyes and white hair. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve gray and blue shirt and blue pants. His car is a green 2014 Subaru Outback with Massachusetts license plate: 4ZD327.

He was last seen heading towards the Maine Turnpike and does not have a cell phone, according to police.
