When Cooper and Ace Flagg’s youth basketball camp at the University of Maine this weekend was announced last month, all 125 spots sold out within two days.

To account for the high demand, the state’s most famous set of twin brothers agreed to hold a second session in the afternoons on Saturday and Sunday.

“Bringing this camp to Maine means everything to us,” said Cooper and Ace Flagg in a statement. “Growing up here, we know how important these opportunities are for local athletes and their families.”

For $249, boys and girls in grades 1-6 will receive six total hours of instruction across two days, engage in skills contests and take home signed memorabilia. The camp was originally priced at $149, and scheduled for just Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Staffing the camp will be the Flagg brothers, their former Nokomis teammates, members of the UMaine men’s and women’s basketball teams, Eastern Maine Sports Academy’s Matt MacKenzie, Nokomis basketball coach Josh Grant, Skowhegan coach Tom Nadeau and former UMaine assistant coach Kevin Reed.
