Madawaska

Tucked in the Madawaska hills, the Four Seasons Trail Association offers miles of well-kept paths through dense forest and open fields with spectacular views of both Maine and Canada. Nature lovers can enjoy late season wildflowers, birch groves and red-tail hawks.

Mars Hill

While the BigRock Ski Area doesn’t currently offer ski-lift rides to take in the vibrant forests, the easily accessible trails still can provide great leaf-peeping opportunities. Hit the slopes before the snow hits the ground for some spectacular views.

Aroostook Valley Trail System

The Aroostook Valley Trail system, with multiple access points throughout The County, offers great leaf-peeping access. With benches and picnic tables at campsites along the system, take your ATV or hike out to take in Maine’s beauty.
