Kamala Harris is the first politician in a long time whose words actually fill me up and bring me to (happy) tears of hope. What she’s saying: Choose something different: Choose freedom. Not just to get by but to get ahead. Freedom to be safe from gun violence. Freedom to make decisions about your own body. To choose a future where no child lives in poverty. Where all people can afford healthcare and where no one is above the law.

She’s cutting through to what matters in life. I’m finally excited to vote this November. Yay, Kamala! Let’s get to work.
