Though I rarely agree with Matthew Gagnon, his Oct. 17 column on the value of podcasts in fostering value as more nuanced political discussion made sense to me. Not all podcasts have this value. Those that do, that take their time, as Gagnon puts it, can be particularly helpful to the invested listener.

Gagnon writes well. This column, free of his usual invective and known biases, was a pleasure to read.
