NORRIDGEWOCK, Maine — Two people are dead after a crash in Somerset County.

Around 7:15 a.m. Monday, the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle crash on Madison Road in Norridgewock.

Investigators say they believe the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to leave the road, hit a utility pole and several trees.

The driver, 31-year-old Kyle Wyman, died at the scene.

The passenger, a female who is not being identified, also died.

Neither of them were wearing seatbelts.

The crash is still under investigation.
