A light to moderate snow will fall through Tuesday morning, which will likely impact morning holiday travels.
Most areas will see between 2 and 5 inches, with a coating to 2 inches in southern counties.
Down East Maine is under a winter storm warning through this evening. Much of the rest of the state is under a winter weather advisory until Tuesday afternoon.
The snow will most likely disrupt the morning commute as even light snow can accumulate on roads. Try and take it slow Tuesday morning.
By the prime holiday travel hour, light to moderate snow will be falling as temperatures hang out in the 20s.
Expect snowfall all along the Interstate 95 corridor.

The Alberta Clipper system will end between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. for most.
By the afternoon, look for some sunshine to peak through as highs increase to the upper 20s and low 30s.
Christmas Day will feature partly cloudy conditions as highs hang out in the low 30s.
Wednesday really starts a dry stretch as a high pressure begins to build after shifting south from Canada.
Look for good travel on Christmas Day itself.
Thursday and Friday look nice with sunny skies and highs in the 20s to mid-30s.
A few more clouds develop over the weekend but all is well.
By late this upcoming weekend and early next week, look for above normal temperatures to return to the forecast.
