Police have released a photo of the suspect in the Monday night robbery of Broadway Convenience in Bangor.
The man, who hasn’t yet been identified, entered the gas station convenience store at the intersection of Broadway and Griffin Road about 7 p.m. and brandished a knife, according to Sgt. Jason McAmbley, a spokesperson for the Bangor Police Department.
He then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. He may have gotten into a vehicle after fleeing from the store.
The suspect, who was wearing gloves and a ski mask, was described as a white man, standing between 5-foot-8 and 6-foot-2 and weighing between 250 and 300 pounds, according to McAmbley.
In addition to the gray gloves and black ski mask, the man was wearing a gray North Face sweatshirt, a black jacket underneath, black pants and brown work boots.
Police released a photo of the suspect Tuesday.
