An earthquake shook Mainers out of their beds on Monday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake reached a magnitude of 3.8 at around 10:22 a.m., approximately 8 miles southeast of York Harbor at a depth of nearly 12 miles. The agency initially reported the quake had a magnitude of 4.1.

One Mainer captured the impact of the quake from a pet camera.
