A downtown Bangor street will be closed for three days this week.
Starting Monday, Merchants Plaza will be closed for traffic and parking from Broad Street and Bangor Alley to Water Street and the Bangor Transit Center, the city said in a Sunday alert.
Beyond traffic, pedestrian use of the west side sidewalk may be restricted at times.
Merchants Plaza will remain closed until Wednesday.
That will allow crews to move a crane into place and remove equipment from the top of a building. The city didn’t say which building.
The work is a private project and doesn’t involve the city of Bangor.
