The woman whose body washed ashore in Cape Elizabeth last week has been identified.
The body of 52-year-old Sari Carlson of Portland was found at Fort Williams Park about 1:50 p.m. Thursday, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Moss said Wednesday morning that Carlson’s cause and manner of death haven’t been confirmed.
But Moss said there isn’t a risk to the public.
Her death remains under investigation.
No additional information was released.
