A man was stabbed multiple times Sunday morning in Portland.
Officers found the 45-year-old Portland man suffering from multiple stab wounds on Portland Street about 6:27 a.m., according to Brad Nadeau, a spokesperson for the Portland Police Department.
The man was taken to Maine Medical Center, where he was treated and released, Nadeau said Monday morning.
Police have identified a person of interest and continue to investigate the stabbing.
No additional information is being released at this time.
