A two-car crash in the Penobscot County town of Newport left three people injured on Monday.
The crash happened at the intersection of Roussin Road and Elm Street, according to the Newport Police Department.
One vehicle was exiting Roussin Road and crossing Elm Street. The other was headed west on Elm Street and hit the crossing vehicle, according to police.
Both vehicles rolled over, and the occupants of at least one vehicle were trapped inside, police said.
The three occupants were transported from the scene with injuries that were not life-threatening. Police did not provide any additional information about the people injured in the crash.
