More than 800 students graduated from Husson University on Saturday, including 560 undergraduates.

Gregory Powell, chairman of the Harold Alfond Foundation and CEO and president of Dexter Enterprises, delivered the keynote address at Husson’s 126th commencement ceremony.

The Class of 2025 included seven valedictorians and one salutatorian. All seven valedictorians achieved 4.0 grade point averages and represented a range of academic majors.

The valedictorians were Ashley Marie Blais of Belfast, Erin Elise Beane of Newport, Madison Nicole Cyr of Bucksport, Kelsi Nicole Sheehan of Laconia, New Hampshire, Nex Staples of Vassalboro, Carly Marie Verrill of Hermon, and Katherine Eliane Worster of Greenville. The salutatorian was Colby John Folsom of Old Town.
