WORCESTER, Massachusets — Worcester Polytechnic Institute has announced that Evan Smith, a member of the Class of 2026 majoring in computer science and electrical and computer engineering, was named to the university’s dean’s list for academic excellence for the spring 2025 semester.
The criteria for the WPI dean’s list differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average. Instead, WPI students are named to the dean’s list based on the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and hands-on projects. A total of 2,331 undergraduate students achieved these criteria for WPI’s spring 2025 dean’s list.
