An Old Town man has been identified as the person who died in a fatal motorcycle crash in Bangor on Friday.

Joshua Tidwell, 41, collided with a tractor trailer at around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Burleigh and Bomarc Roads, Bangor Police Sgt. Jason McAmbley said in a news release.

Tidwell died at the scene, McAmbley said. The driver of the tractor trailer, who is part of the ongoing investigation, is not being publicly identified.

Tidwell’s body was sent to the state medical examiner’s office where an autopsy will be conducted. No additional information was immediately available.
