MEDFORD, Massachusetts — More than 2,800 students across all schools graduated from Tufts University on May 18 during a university-wide commencement ceremony that featured the awarding of honorary degrees to a number of academic, business and civic leaders making a positive impact on the world. Local grads are:
Liam Castrucci of Hampden, Summa Cum Laude with a degree in economics (BA);
Tia Chen of Veazie, Summa Cum Laude with a degree in computer science (BS); and
Tucker Ellis of Orono, Summa Cum Laude with a degree in biopsychology (BS).
