A Dover-Foxcroft man who was deemed armed and dangerous by police was arrested Saturday following an overnight search.

Ryan T. Mooreside, 36, was being sought by the town’s police department following a Friday incident. He had last been seen in the area of West Main Street near an Irving gas station, according to a statement from police. They asked residents in that area to shelter in place.

That order was lifted by late Saturday morning. Police said just before 3 p.m. that Mooreside had been arrested. They did not describe his alleged conduct and said more information would be coming later in the day.
