CAPE ELIZABETH — If you can’t be at the finish line to cheer on friends and family running the 2025 TD Beach to Beacon 10K, you can watch the live action online this year.
For the first time in the race’s history, the finish line of the TD Beach to Beacon 10K will be live streamed for fans who are unable to attend in person. StreamState.tv, a new service featuring Maine programming, will stream all the finish line excitement. The free coverage includes elite runners, wheelchair athletes, and recreational runners and will be available on demand from 8:15 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2 on TV and on the News Center Maine mobile app, NCM+.
Join in the fun from wherever you are and watch Joan Benoit Samuelson, 1984 Women’s Olympic Marathon gold medalist, and TD Beach to Beacon 10K volunteers greet and congratulate more than 6,500 runners as they cross the finish line at Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth.
Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Best Buddies serves individuals with IDD and their families. The IDD community includes, but is not limited to, people with Down syndrome, autism, Fragile X, Williams syndrome and other undiagnosed disabilities.
The TD Beach to Beacon 10K draws runners from New England and throughout the world to picturesque Cape Elizabeth. The race begins on Route 77 near the Crescent Beach State Park entrance, winds along tree-lined streets and past breathtaking ocean vistas and ends in Fort Williams Park at historic Portland Head Light, the most photographed lighthouse in the world.
