The University of Maine men’s ice hockey team officially announced its schedule for the upcoming season Tuesday.

That slate includes 17 games at the Alfond Arena in Orono, where home fans will have a chance to watch the Black Bears battle it out on the ice as they look to build on last year’s Hockey East championship season.

The schedule had previously been reported but was not announced officially by the school until Tuesday, as the UMaine athletic department was waiting to finalize game contracts.

Flex plan ticket sales, which allow fans to purchase tickets for five home games of their choosing, will go on sale on Aug. 19. Individual game ticket sales will start Aug. 26. More information about ticket sales will be available later this week, according to UMaine.

As of May, there were nearly 1,700 people on the wait list for season tickets.
