Three people have been arrested after a Monday night fight at a Bangor home.

Adam McKay, 40, of Levant and Adam Rugh, 38, of Bangor have been charged with aggravated assault, aggravated reckless conduct and disorderly conduct, while Kayla Kalel, 36, of Bangor has been charged with obstructing government administration and resisting arrest, according to Sgt. Jason McAmbley, a spokesperson for the Bangor Police Department.

Police got a call about a family fight just before 11 p.m. Monday. But when officers arrived, there was no one home, McAmbley said Tuesday.

Officers found signs that a fight had happened there, so they secured the scene while waiting for a search warrant.

At this time, Kalel was walking back to the home. The officers told her that she couldn’t go inside because the home was considered a crime scene. She then walked away.

But officers spotted her a short time later wearing different clothes and carrying a bag. After they stopped her, officers determined Kalel had entered the home, changed her clothes and was carrying bloody clothes in the bag, according to McAmbley.

She was then arrested.

The Maine State Police took McKay into custody and brought him back to Bangor, and Rugh was found in Bangor after he called 911 to report an assault, according to McAmbley.

Rugh was taken to the hospital, where he was treated for injuries not considered life-threatening.
