Multiple fire departments responded on Thursday afternoon to a fire at Meadowbrook Equestrian Center on Harrison Road in the western Maine town of Naples.
A portion of Harrison Road (Route 35) was closed from Lewis Road to Wiley Road, Casco Fire and Rescue said in a Facebook post at about 2 p.m. It has since been reopened.
Shortly before 5 p.m., the equestrian center shared a post on Facebook with a photo of the destroyed barn saying: “We are all okay. The horses are all safe and unharmed.”
