I am appalled that the Trump administration would stop funding for the nation’s primary food assistance program for the nation’s poor (SNAP or food stamps) because of the shutdown. We have had many shutdowns in the past and never have they fully stopped SNAP funding.

If they can find the money for masked ICE agents and massive bailouts for Argentina and President Donald Trump’s billionaire cronies, I think they can assist America’s hungriest families. This is an example of Trump’s cruelty at its most disgusting.
