In what world, I should say, in what legislative district, is Paul LePage the “prohibitive favorite” to represent Maine? While Maine’s 2nd Congressional District is complex and challenging, politically speaking, I do not believe it is made up of people who want a part-time resident who largely lives in, and paid taxes in Florida. Instead of a snowbird, we could call him an election bird who only shows up when it’s time to run for office.
I think he will be no match for a brilliant, hardworking public servant who knows and loves the state of Maine inside and out. I can’t wait to go door-to-door and sing Matt Dunlap’s praises.
