Firefighters saved a Carmel home from destruction on Tuesday afternoon.
A fire broke out around the chimney of a two-story home on Munson Way, according to Carmel Fire & Rescue.
When firefighters arrived, they could see smoke showing from the roof and chimney.
Crews managed to contain the blaze to the room where it originated.
The fire department is reminding homeowners to have their chimneys inspected before using them this winter.
