An Edgecomb man died Tuesday morning after his pickup truck crashed into a utility pole before rolling over in Whitefield.
Gavin Martin, 21, was driving a Chevrolet pickup truck near the intersection of Gardiner and Hunts Meadow roads about 5:50 a.m. when he went off the road, hit a utility pole and rolled the truck onto its roof, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
Martin, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, died.
Speed is considered a potential factor in the crash, according to the sheriff’s office.
