A bicyclist was seriously injured Thursday evening when a car hit him in Westbrook.
The 48-year-old was riding a bicycle near the intersection of Main and Tolman streets about 4:50 p.m. when a car driven by a 16-year-old girl hit him, according to the Westbrook Police Department.
A bystander rendered first aid until police arrived and he was taken to the hospital, where he remained Friday in serious condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
