A 1-year-old child was found dead at a home in Milford Sunday morning, police said.
The Maine State Police is investigating, Shannon Moss, Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson, said Sunday evening.
Under state law, state police investigate all deaths of children under 3.
There is no danger to the public and no further information is being released, Moss said.
