Patriots defensive lineman Christian Barmore is facing one misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a family/household member, according to court documents obtained by WCVB.

Barmore, 26, has been accused of by a female victim who says he grabbed her and threw her to the ground during an alleged domestic incident in Mansfield on Aug. 8.

According to the report, the victim claimed to be in a relationship with Barmore, who allegedly stopped her from leaving the house that day after an argument. The court documents state she “intended to open the door and scream for help, but Christian grabbed her before she could and threw her to the floor.” Barmore, the victim alleges, then grabbed her by the shirt collar as she tried to stand and eventually let her go.

The complaint was filed on Dec. 16. Barmore is scheduled to be arraigned in Attleborough District Court on Feb. 3.
