Hannaford is recalling packages of Hannaford-brand 80% and 85% lean ground beef sold at its Lincoln store on Friday afternoon because the products may contain foreign material.
The recall applies only to beef purchased at Hannaford’s 22 Goding Ave. store between 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. Friday. The affected beef has a sell-by date of Jan. 5, 2026, the company said in a release.
Customers who bought the affected products are urged not to eat them and to check their refrigerators and freezers.
The items or their packaging may be returned to the store for a full refund.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported, and the recall affects only the Lincoln location, store officials said.
The recalled products include Hannaford brand 80% lean ground beef with UPCs 213779 and 242214, and 85% lean ground beef with UPC 223126.
