A tractor-trailer hauling groceries crashed on Interstate 95 in Clinton early Thursday morning.
The driver was headed north on I-95, near mile marker 141, about 3:49 a.m. when the tractor-trailer left the road and hit the median guardrail, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The driver was taken to Thayer Hospital in Waterville for treatment of injuries not considered life-threatening.
The wreckage remains in the median, and crews will need to close the passing lane to remove it, Moss said.
Drivers passing through the area should expect delays or else avoid the area.
The crash remains under investigation.
