A fire at a vacant home in Phillips early Tuesday morning was intentionally set, according to the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Firefighters arrived at Dodge Road home just after midnight to find the building “heavily involved” in fire.
Investigators determined the fire to be incendiary in nature. They are asking nearby residents to review security camera footage for any relevant information.
It’s one of two incendiary fires currently under investigation. The other was set Tuesday night in Mexico, about a 45-minute drive from Phillips.
