A Hampden man is missing.

Douglas Dunphy, 78, is believed to be driving a white Ford Econoline van, according to the Hampden Department of Public Safety.

Dunphy typically wears a black Carhartt jacket and blue cap, Hampden police said Friday morning.

Dunphy retired in 2015 after 35 years as mechanical superintendent of the Bangor Daily News.
