There is a citywide parking ban in Bangor beginning Wednesday night.
Between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday, there will be no parking on any street, according to an alert sent out by the city.
This will allow crews to remove snow and ice from the roads.
Any vehicles left on the street may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense, the city said Wednesday morning.
People can park between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. in the lower level of the Columbia Street Parking Deck and the lower level of the Pickering Square Parking Garage on the Kenduskeag Plaza side, as well as between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. at the rear section of the upper Abbot Square parking lot on Harlow Street.
Outside downtown, people can park between 5 p.m. and 7 a.m. at Cameron Stadium on Mount Hope Avenue, Lot C at the Cross Insurance Center, the Essex Street Dog Park, Gateway Park, Hayford Park and the Union Street Recreation Center.
From 11 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday there will be a parking ban for downtown Bangor, including most parking lots, except for those listed above.
