A man was found dead along the side of the road in Fairfield on Saturday morning.
The body of 46-year-old Jason Grant of Oakland was found about 8:57 a.m. on Martin Stream Road, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
He died at the scene, Moss said.
His body was taken to the Maine medical examiner’s office in Augusta for an autopsy in the coming days.
The investigation is ongoing.
