A fire broke out at a vacant carriage house Thursday morning in Bangor.

The fire was called in at 7:30 a.m. and was in a detached two-story garage at 50 Broadway, Bangor Fire Assistant Chief Chandler Corriveau said.

The building was vacant when fire fighters arrived on scene three minutes later, he said.

It was a “relatively small” fire but it was an all-hands call for Bangor. The fire was under control four minutes after fire fighters arrived, Corriveau said.

The cause and origin of the fire are under investigation by the Maine State Fire Marshal’s Office. No one was injured in the fire, Corriveau said.
