A Brooksville man died Friday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash on Blue Hill Road in Surry.
Mark Nevells, 47, was driving a 2015 Subaru Forester northbound when his vehicle crossed the center line and struck two southbound vehicles — a 2018 Honda Fit and a 2024 Ram 2500 — at about 2:44 p.m., according to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss.
Nevells sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The drivers of the other two vehicles were transported to a local hospital, treated and later released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Moss said.
