In Europe, current and former government ministers are losing their jobs and status because of the Epstein files. In America, a pass?
As the father of two girls and the grandfather to two more, I am outraged at the way the Epstein documents have been released. Victims names were not redacted but the perpetrators names were redacted. The perpetrators, regardless of party affiliation, must be identified and suffer consequences for their actions. A president saying that “America needs to move on from this issue” is clearly not concerned about justice.
The Constitution starts with the phrase “We the People…” The “people” have begun to express their feelings in Maine, Minnesota and elsewhere. Let us continue moving forward. I am asking people to write a letter or email a week to our senators and representatives.
There are many challenges facing our nation; they can seem overwhelming. Remember what was in the bottom of Pandora’s box; it was hope. Helen Keller said “hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible.”
I hope that you will join me.
