Timothy Curtis was selected Maine County Official of February in honor of his community service by Spirit of America Foundation’s Maine Chapter.
Curtis currently serves as administrator of Somerset County, a role which has provided him opportunity to collaborate state wide as president of the Maine Association of County Administrators and Managers and to serve on the County Corrections Professional Standards Council.
Curtis previously served as town manager of Madison, and he has served on several community boards and committees including Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County, the Solon Community Food Cupboard and the SAD 59 Board of Directors.
Curtis pastors Solon Congregational Church, where he has the opportunity to share encouragement and hope.
One of his favorite roles is annually hosting Somerset County’s Spirit of America ceremonies honoring community service.
Maine Spirit of America is a chapter of Spirit of America Foundation, an organization promoting community service.
