BDN Contributor Allie Ladd has shot some great footage of Canada lynx and bobcats that we share with you now.

Ladd uses roadkill as bait to entice the animals near his cameras. He never knows what will come around. In the first segment, this lynx and a fisher (not pictured) spent three days stripping this deer leg, taking turns at the carcass.

Ladd has seen several different animals on this ledge. We’ve seen videos of raptors, foxes and other animals. This bobcat seems to smell something really yummy. What it doesn’t know is that Ladd is on his way with more roadkill, and that could be what it’s smelling.

The final segment shows a beautiful up-close shot of a Canada lynx, which is making its way to the bait above the camera. Look at its graceful movement and the focus it has on its next meal.
