A man allegedly assaulted a security guard in Portland early Monday morning.
Daniel Noble, 31, has been charged with aggravated assault, robbery, aggravated criminal trespassing, criminal threatening and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, according to Brad Nadeau, a spokesperson for the Portland Police Department.
Noble allegedly assaulted the security guard at 1 City Center about 3:50 a.m., leaving the victim with severe injuries.
The victim was taken to Maine Medical Center.
The assault was captured on security cameras, which police used to identify Noble, who was arrested on Marginal Way about 5:21 a.m.
He was taken to the Cumberland County Jail.
