A Sebago man died Wednesday evening after his van went over a bridge in Brunswick.
Brandon Macfarland, 22, was driving a 2023 Ford Transit cargo van on the Route 196 onramp toward Route 1 about 6:49 p.m. when Macfarland, as he went over the bridge, left his lane, drove up an icy embankment, over a barrier and fell onto the ground below, according to the Brunswick Police Department.
Macfarland died at the scene, Brunswick police said Thursday morning.
The crash remains under investigation.
