A Buxton woman allegedly set fire to a car belonging to her boyfriend’s relative after an argument.
Adriane Williams, 43, has been charged with arson, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Williams allegedly burned a red 2011 Subaru Impreza in the driveway of a Joyce Street home in Buxton about 6:14 p.m. Friday. Outside the Subaru was a pile of burning clothes, Moss said Monday.
She allegedly started the fire after an argument with her boyfriend. The vehicle belonged to a family member of the boyfriend, according to Moss.
Williams was taken to the York County Jail in Alfred. She was expected to be arraigned Monday.
